Intervento di ristrutturazione e interior design di appartamento anni 60: progettazione preliminare, definitiva, esecutiva, direzione lavori, coordinamento finiture, corpi illuminanti e arredo, con parti studiate su misura.
Le richieste principali dei committenti, per procedere all’acquisto dell’alloggio, erano di ricavare un secondo bagno e, oltre alla camera matrimoniale, una ospiti e uno studio mantenendo fissa la posizione della cucina e del soggiorno. In più il recupero della quasi totalità dei mobili, ad eccezione della cucina, presenti nell’alloggio da lasciare.
Il secondo bagno è stato progettato ad L, sfruttando una parete in comune con quello esistente, all’interno del soggiorno, ed è illuminato da una delle finestre presenti. La camera matrimoniale è stata collocata nella stanza vicina, in modo da creare una zona notte/servizio. Lo studio, con il mobile scrivania a parete da ricollocare, nell’ultima presente, a ridosso della zona giorno, dove un sistema di ante scorrevoli, insieme ad una nuova parete laterale, crea un box in tono di rosa che nasconde i letti degli ospiti, in continuità con l’armadio laterale. Così facendo, in un unico ambiente
sono state ricavate le due funzioni richieste.
Per poter inserire nel soggiorno divano, tavolo, mobile tv e due scaffalature, come da richiesta, si è creato, nello spazio adiacente al nuovo bagno, un angolo per la zona pranzo che, con un ribassamento del soffitto ed una nicchia a misura, ha permesso di inglobare anche la libreria con anta scorrevole ed ha portato, per problemi dimensionali di passaggio, alla creazione di una direttrice inclinata, che è diventata la protagonista del progetto, sia cromaticamente, con un tono di blu, che a livello spaziale. Per i pavimenti, anch’essi giuntati in proiezione diagonale, sono stati utilizzati
due materiali: rovere chiaro per la zona pranzo, notte, antibagno, ceramica per tutto il resto dell’alloggio.
La linea inclinata ed il controsoffitto proseguono anche nel disimpegno, dove un sistema di ante scorrevoli e a battente ha permesso di creare un armadio a muro, di servizio e una chiusura che occlude la zona notte. Grazie alle porte filo muro si è ottenuto un unicum cromatico, che contraddistingue il progetto.
A lato del passaggio, un sistema di mensole su disegno in rovere naturale e con inclinazione progressiva, riprende lo spicchio di pavimento ligneo sottostante e crea un angolo che segna l’ingresso dell’alloggio. Anche all’interno della cucina, con arredi su disegno, si trova un parziale ribassamento del soffitto; quest’ultimo, insieme ad una nuova spalla laterale, ingloba le colonne che, su un lato, proseguono con basi, top ed una coppia di pensili.
Il bagno esistente, rifatto, è stato adibito a lavanderia. Quello nuovo, ad L, con mobile su disegno, è stato realizzato con un rialzo del pavimento, finito in grès color antracite in continuità con i rivestimenti.
Renovation and interior design of an apartment from the 60s: preliminary, final and executive designs, architectural supervision, coordination of finishes, lighting fixtures and furnishings, with custom designed parts.
In order to finalize the purchase of the unit, the customers asked to build a second bathroom and, in addition to the double bedroom, a guest bedroom and a study, while keeping the kitchen and the living room exactly where they were. They also asked to use the furniture they had in their old house, except for the kitchen.
The second bathroom is L-shaped, and was built, using a wall shared with the existing bathroom, inside the living room. The master bedroom was placed in the adjacent room to create a sleeping/utility area. The study, where the old wall desk had to placed, was built by renovating the last room available, close to the living area, where a system of sliding doors, together with a new side wall, creates a pink box that hides the guests’ beds, in line with the side wardrobe. This way, a single space meets the two requests made.
In order to place the sofa, the table, the TV unit and two shelves unit in the living room, as requested, in the space adjacent to the new bathroom, a corner was created for the dining area which, with a lowered ceiling and a custom-made niche, made it possible to incorporate also the sliding door bookcase and led, due to dimensional problems of passage, to the creation of a sloping line, which has become the protagonist of the design, both chromatically, with a shade of blue, and at a spatial level. As for the floors, also diagonally connected, two materials were used: light oak for the dining area, the sleeping area and the dressing room, and ceramic for the rest of the unit.
The sloping line and the false ceiling are extended to the hallway, where a system of sliding and hinged doors allowed to create a wall-mounted utility closet and to close the sleeping area. Thanks to the flush to wall doors, we got a chromatic unicum, which characterises the project.
Next to the passage, a system of shelves in natural oak with progressive inclination reproduces the segment of the wooden floor below, and creates a corner that marks the entrance to the house. The inside of the kitchen, with custom-made furniture, also features a partial lowering of the ceiling; the latter, together with a new and small side wall, incorporate the columns which, in one side, continue with bases, tops and a couple of wall units.
The existing bathroom was renovated and turned into a laundry room, while the new L-shaped bathroom, with custom-made furniture, has a raised floor, and anthracite-coloured stoneware finishes in line with the coverings.
